# Bot Channel Task Skill

Standard processing flow for tasks received through messaging channels such as Telegram.

## Core Flow

1. Reply to the channel first with a concise acknowledgment.
2. Classify the task.
   - Short tasks: execute synchronously and report the result.
   - Long or multi-step tasks: launch a background worker, keep the listening surface free, and send progress updates during the run.
3. Send a completion report with outcome or error details.

## Required Acknowledgment

Reply to the originating channel before doing substantive work.
Preferred format: Got it, I'll [action].

## Background Task Handoff

For longer tasks, pass the following to the background worker:

- Task content
- Channel identity
- Chat id
- Reply target message id
- Requirement to send intermediate progress updates for long tasks
- Requirement to send final success or failure notification

## Completion Rule

Do not end silently. Always report back to the originating channel with the concrete result, current blocker, or next required user input.

## Usage

Use this skill whenever work is initiated from a Telegram or similar channel and the response flow needs to stay readable, acknowledged, and synchronized with the actual execution lifecycle.
